A sketchbook is used to record ideas and inspiration for later development. The fabrics in this collection were developed from sketches and images that I've accumulated in the past few years.
As with the original introductions of Studio B, this collection is the result of hand-worked processes. It's called Colorbox as a catch-all for all the various mediums that were used...paint, ink, pencil, etc.
Overall, the palette is softer this year however we also included some of our favorite colors from last season to enhance that collection. This season we also expanded the variety of patterns to include our largest scale repeats and also the smallest designs so far in the line.
All the original artwork for the fabrics in this collection are the result of some type of handwork -either drawn, painted, cut-out or stamped... In essence there are no straight lines.
